Glamorous green — N. Dallas!

Daffodil colors range from reddish oranges to minty greens. Pure red is within reach, but blue is out of the question. I’m always looking for specimens that push the bounds, and Dallas does!

Simply extravagant… silky-smooth petals highlight that fascinating emerald eye. It looks like a poeticus for good reason — more than half of its genes are from the poeticus.

Dallas enamored visitors for the first time at Brodie Castle, in Scotland. It’s the most enduring variety from The Brodie of Brodie, who registered a total of 361 daffodils. Others include Nevis, Rosslare, and Odessa.

Dallas is tall, stately, and flawless. It’s one of the best greens… although I wish it grew faster.
