Growing Passion...
For the past few years, I have been committed to bringing forward the very best daffodil pictures, books, videos, and website. And now... the very best daffodils!
Our Bulbs...
All varieties shipped from daffodils.com were grown in western Pennsylvania. Although I have a USDA import license, this crop is 100% domestically-produced.
A Curated List...
I have direct and ongoing experience with all of these varieties, and hundreds of others. These flowers are likely to perform well in most situations, and are proven perennials in USDA Zone 5 (unless otherwise noted). For best results, always plant in full-sun, with well-drained soil, and follow the planting instructions.
Realistic Images...
I use Photoshop for everything — except the misrepresentation of flower pictures.
Some resellers use heavily-manipulated images in an effort to sell more product. This strategy works in the fall, but some important customers may be disappointed in the spring. Here, we have a different approach. Our pictures are of actual garden plants, often in place for a decade or longer.
All images are color-balanced, but not much else, and should be regarded as genuine representations.
Some varieties have issues, which are never addressed in catalogs. Examples include weak stems and blasting, which are not uncommon in doubles. All such problems are mentioned here, and could be factors in your purchase decisions... or not!
Satisfaction Guaranteed...
I am a major consumer of daffodil bulbs. I buy for forcing, photography, mass planting, hybridization, and gifts. As such, I have experienced every possible issue, such as incorrectly-labeled packages, rotton bulbs, substitutions, and flowers that fail to come up. Every effort shall be made to spare customers from such situations, but they can happen.
If, for any reason, you are dissatisfied with bulbs received from daffodils.com, please contact me for a refund of the purchase price, plus applicable shipping. My goal is to provide the very best daffodils, and if something isn't right, I'd like to know about it.
